Recipe needed - crunchy chip cookies

Could someone please post the recipe for "Crunchy chip cookies" from the purple spice and spirit? It is the best oatmeal-choc-chip recipe and I cant find it now!

1 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups rolled oats
12 ounces chocolate chips
2 ounce chow-mein noodles (chopped)

preheat 350

In large bowl, cream margarine and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. Beat in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Fold in rolled oats, chocolate chips, and chow-mein noodles. Blend well

Drop on to cookie sheets by teaspoonfuls, leaving 1 inch space in between cookies.

Bake 15 minutes, remove from cookie sheet and let cool

I have made them and not liked them.,,,wouldn't you rather stick with plain choc chippers?

THANK YOU SHOY!!!!! I really, really appreciate it!!!

chocmoosie, I adapt the recipe a little. I always leave out the chow mein noodles. Someimtes I make it in pan and cut it into bars. For that, I dont put any baking soda. For cookies I put very little baking soda and leave them in for long enough to bake, but stay soft and chewy.

when we made them, that one time, the chow mein noodles tasted like bones in the cookies!
