I've never used a convection oven before but the only milchig oven (other then a small toaster) available for me to make milchigs in over shavuot is a convection oven.... Can someone explain to me how one of those ovens work... can I make a regular recipe in it ? what kind of changes would I have to make? (The person whos oven it is told me she has made cheese cake in it, but she doesn't remember how)
Thanks.

Sorry I'm a little confused here. Convection oven is that that basically has a fan in the back to distribute the air to speed up the cooking process. I'm assuming you mean a mini countertop oven.

I have a toastmater, & bake everything in it muffins, cakes, lasagna, ect.
Use it the same way as a regular oven, only difference it takes longer to warm up.

Convection oven bakes faster then both a regular oven and an toastmaster.

Do you know anything about how to adapt the time to cooking a regular recipe in it. I want to bake cheese cake in it.

I have a counter top convection oven for milchigs and treat it as a normal oven. I got the larger size enableing me to put 9X13 disposable pans right in there, pending that I fold up the edges. (JUST the edges, the actual pan size fits just fine!)
