My family and I are in the process of potentially being transferred to Israel from NJ, and my husband will be imyh working in Tel Aviv. We both went to YU and identify with a YU center hashkafa/Torah U madda. I cover all my hair with tichels and shietals and my husband wears a kippah srugra, though he recently changed it from a velvet kippah. We need somewhere that will be a decent commute to tel aviv, and we need somewhere where there are a ton of anglos. my husband is a BT and doesnt speak hebrew, and I would really love for him to find a place that would make him feel comfortable. Any suggestions? We are currently thinking about Modiin from a convenience standpoint, but im concerned it is too modern for us. We are also considering Ramat Shilo. Any info would be so helpful! Thank you!

I am in a similar situation- so I would love to see responses as well. I was looking on the nbn website and saw 2 places that looked interesting.. Karmiel and neve aliza in karnie shomrom. From the website it looks like karnei shomron has an amazing school that doesn't "box" kids in.. but you can't always believe what you read.. anyone out there know a little more about it?
anonymous because others don't know our plans yet.
