Alef-Bais Party | Imamother

Has anyone ever done one? I teach kindergarten and we just finished alef-bais , and I could really use any crafts, games ideas that anyone has.

Each child gets a letter (you can double even triple)

They decorate it, They hold it up and say:
"This is an alef, I am silent. I start the word____"
"This is a Bais, I make a Beh sound, I start the word bayit." etc...

They sing the alef bais song, at the end. I have done this twice and the parents love it! I also add a little nekodos skit.

if you would like to do something really special with them you can do either cookies and buy alef beis cookie cutters or you can buy alef beis chocolate molds and make some chocolate with them.

my son had a party and the parents were invited. if you ask me, it was a waste of time to have us there. the kids would've enjoyed it more without our presence.
