I've had sweet potato cake. It was good!
I saw a recipe for cake made with cooked potatoes. No cocoa.

I never tried this but saw in pesach cookbook
Festive Potato Cake
2 potatoes, cooled, cooled and finely grated
6 tbsp sugar
6 eggs, separated
Juice of half lemon
2 tbsp sugar
8 tbsp ground nuts
2 oz chocolate, grated (optional)
Mix potatoes, sugar lemon and yolks until throughly combined.
Whip eggs until foamy, add 2 tbsp sugar and beat until stiff. Fold in potato mixture, then ground nuts and chocolate.
Pour into 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
