I'm asking this on behalf of a family friend. He is desperately looking for a hospice in Israel that provides cancer care (more palliative). Preference for northern Israel but other regions would do. Language (English/Hebrew) is not an issue here, no specific religious requirement (includes secular organisation). His criteria is simply a caring setting that is well managed.
Any information is much appreciated.
Also in general, how is hospice care provided? Are the hospices in Israel mostly a branch/offshoot of major hospitals, or are they mostly small stand-alone organisations? Are there any non-profit organisations that specialise in hospice care for cancer patients (and their family)?

I'm very sorry to hear about your friend.
I've heard Hadassah Har Hatzofim has hospice care, though not any further details.
