Which ways do you most enjoy or dislike? Road trips, by Plane? Boat? what about the kids? where to sleep for the night? kosher food/minyanim etc.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how I love to go touring!!!!
I go mostly with the boro park Y and with come along tours for ladies......
when I cant go anywhere I satisfy myself with trips to a museum

I inevitably end up travelling to brooklyn since I am the one who moved away ... if & when I send my kids away to camp we travel via the country ... we try to make it FUN by stopping off places - although as they get bigger they like less fun it seems ... try to run around and visit as many people friends & family as I can - cause otherwise I do not see them ... I have hopped on the bus or train when they were very little ... but once I had 4 I just go in my car and off we go ... did any of you see me wave at you ... cause I wave to people ... including a cute little girl of 10 ish on the way up to the mountains while her mother drove - yeah that was me ... Wink

now I prefer car, I used to like the planes... but it's too much of a headache, I'd rather just watch them take off and land. well we do day trips, or sometimes go up north for a few days... being in isreal, food I can buy anywhere and there is usually a shul around. I like the north because I like to go to kivrei tzadikim. I especially love zefas and meron, especially rosh chodesh elul, I get such a spiritual feeling there and meron is always full of action. funny I don't get that feeling by the kosel anymore...

I love traveling but with kids & luggage is hard. I travel heavy although I wish I didn't.

I did but I learnt to cut down even with kids... btw there are laundry machines...
