Did anyone ever hear of a behavioral optometrist? My daughter's eyes are no seeing the same. She has 20/20 in one eye and the other can't see far. She has focusing problems. Someone recommended I look into a behavioral optometrist over going to a ophthalmologist who will just give glasses.
I have HIP medicaid, but would pay if it's worth it.

Yes, my husband goes to one. He has improved his nearsightness significantly as a result of exercises, his "lazy eye" is also better. With kids, you can expect even better results.

Are you in NY? Does this optometrist see children too?

No, I am not in NY.
Behavioral optometrists usually do see children, because children are more responsive to their therapies.
