This reminds me of a pet store.

oh my gosh
I can't decide whether it looks more like a pet shop (with all their cages lined up) or a juvenile prision.....

a smidge scary but aren't reg. cribs? They look like cells on wheels, we're just used to them. But, at least they're not in the air...oh and they're open on top!

I've seen it in the company daycare at DH's office. Not the nicest thing but the babies don't seem to mind.

hey you took the words right out of my thoughts ...
btw - there was a big case here in OH about a foster family who encaged the children for fear of them leaving while they slept or something ... it was all over the news this past year ...
indeed a pet store ... but on the other hand - babies need cribbies and it's a cribbie bunkbed ... kool also

I guess if you have quads & not a lot of space & for an office daycare I guess it makes sense, but otherwize, it's weird.

BTW, not that I am actually planning to put my kids into one of those, but I would guess that most kids would love it. Mine are always trying to get into places too small for them-toy pack n' play, cupboards, etc.

that's why when I got my crib- I got the crib that the head & footboard were solid & not bars- the all barred crib creeped me out.

Actually it looks like a very safe option for a babysitting center that watches babies & toddlers, keeps the babies safe from the toddlers. Or a good option for quads who live in a tiny space.

I think so too. It's way better than the daycare centers that stick the kids into carriages, or the floor to napl

Actually this one looks way better, and if that wood was painted bright colors and the 'cage/ prision' was decorated with little cute decals incl mobiles etc.
It imo is an amazing idea for someone who has tiny space, or for a babysitting etc and for quadruplets.
Though price wise it's not nessecarily cheaper
Though it could be converted into book shelves later on...........

4 yr dd just asked me to show her that picture of the mommy with the babies.
I explained, "That's not the mommy. That's the morah and the babies all go to her school."
She looked and said, "and then the morah puts the babies in their cages?"

I told DH why didn't we think of this? I don't know what we'd do with the 4th crib though...

When I was little, my favorite book was The Bunny Book. The bunny family had a lot of little bunnies and on the last page they had all the little bunnies sleeping in these stacked cubicles (no guardrails). I always loved the idea of a big family and B"H I have been bentched with one!
