I got my BS in accounting 3 years ago but my bookkeeping job offered me a nice raise to keep me and its super close to my house and I have little kids so I stayed. I am toying with the idea of leaving my job for a more professional job with more advancement opportunities and I am also just curious what the education level and salary of other women in my field is. Please answer the following questions. What is your education level? nothing, bachelors, masters cpa etc. What is your job title? bookkeeper, accountant, cpa controller etc? What is your annual or hourly salary? How many hours a week do you work? Where are you located?

I have a BS in accounting. My job title is bookkeeper. My salary is 45k a yr but no insurance or retirement benefits. I do have paid yom tov and chol hamoed (I work legal holidays) and ten personal days. I work 30 hours a week. I am in Brooklyn
