Thanks everyone for your replies. I see that Stonington and silver chain are popular, and I really like both. Now, how on Earth do I choose between the two?
Would anyone be ok with posting pics of their gray rooms? I'd love to see a finished basement.
TIA!

Color can look very different due to lighting, texture, and other factors. Maybe you can get samples of each color and paint an area of each wall so you can see how it looks during the day, night, lights fully on, etc?

I'm not sure that a picture of someone else's basement will be an accurate representation... What you see will look different than real life based on their camera, lighting, the screen you're viewing it on, etc...

For those that painted in Stonington or silver chain, can you describe the "look" it gives and what color furniture it goes with? Thanks

I have nimbus in main entrance, living room and dining room. It is a very pretty light gray that is more neutral. Not as bold as other grays. A great choice!

I've had lots of compliments on Balboa Mist (Benjamin Moore). We have it in a sun soaked living room/ dining room.

I did Revere Pewter from Benjamin Moore. It's rather beige than grey. But totally looks grey in some rooms and beige in others. Light Pewter is more grey. Good luck!
