I have an appointment tomorrow to give the first vaccine for my baby. He is not my first and always gave my kids all of them (besides the flu which is not available here) without even batting an eyelash. Thing is he was hospitalized a few weeks ago for an infection. He is now 100% fine. I spoke to his pediatrician and he said there is absolutely no problem to give It to him. Im so traumatized by what happened to him then that im so anxious about tomorrow. (This is NOT a discussion to vaxx or not to im doing it but need reassurance that everything will be ok).
Please please don't bash me about my decision I'm anxious enough...

Will it make you feel better to wait another month or so. If so then I would say wait you have good reson to want to hold off if your baby was just sick just don't wait to long.

Do you trust your pediatrician?
Everything will be okay.
If you are really worried, wait another month.

It will be fine! My daughter had pneumonia when she was a year and something, and was supposed to get vaccines shortly after. As a mother, I was nervous. But as a biologist who works in this stuff, I knew that once she's all better, it's completely safe to give the vaccines! Not only that, but I wouldn't want to risk her getting a more serious illness because I pushed off the vaccine (this actually happened to my cousin's baby). And, she was totally fine - not even any side effects!

So from your resident biologist mom - really, there's no need to worry!
