We are looking for a nice hotel in a nice area ... BUT we don't want to spend more than about $100 a night. We are not picky about location, anywhere within 2-3 hours away from NYC is fine, as long as there will be something fun or relaxing to do in the area. Does anything like this exist? Does anyone have any ideas?
We are supposed to be leaving on Sunday, DH arranged to have off from work and everything, but no plans are in place as of yet.  I really would love some help with this!! I have been trying to do some research, but there are so many options out there, I am utterly confused. If someone had a positive experience somewhere, I'd love to hear. TIA
