Thanks. Is coating them in the Turbinado sugar necessary, or can I leave that out, or can I use regular sugar?

I've always used "Sugar in the Raw" that I got from the local grocery store. I think it's worth it to add it.

Just made the Whisk honey cookies from Ami Living 2 weeks ago I think. I never got such soft and delicous cookies! (I keep stealing them from the fridge, hope there will be left for yt!) They are coated in confectinary sugar for the extra pizzaz.

I don't remember where this came from but they're pretty good. The dough is hard to work with, you need to flour or wet your hands.
1 c. honey
1 c. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
Beat till smooth and creamy.
Add and beat till smooth
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon
With mixer on low add
3 c. flour. Don't overmix.
You can incorporate 1 1/2 c. choc. chips if you want. I haven't tried this.
Bake at 375. The recipe says for 9-10 minutes but check at 8.

I found this recipe on another thread. How do the results compare, besides the yield? Is the second recipe maybe fluffier because of the baking powder and baking soda?

They are super easy.
I use two cups of white whole wheat flour, I find it tastes better.
They are dangerous to have around; I want to freeze them right away but my husband likes when I leave them out so... I had four today
