I need a really cheap ticket (under a thousand preferably) to Eretz Yisrael for October 14th to the 17. Anyone know of such an offer?

I just discovered a new site - www.vayama.com . I haven't tried them yet, but they seem to have good fares.

Are you very specific about those dates? You know that without staying over a Shabbat it's going to be expensive, right?

Air Canada (via Toronto) is $1470, taxes in if you fly the 14th to the 21st (which includes a Shabbat).

Why do they care if I stay a Shabbos? My friends wedding is the 15th and I can't talk too much time off work and I don't want to be away from my husbband.

A general rule when flying ANY airline to ANYWHERE trans continental is that a Sat. night stayover lessens the fare. Just the way it is. Has nothing to do with Shabbat for the Jews.
