Do you hold by this custom for women? I've been in shuls where I'm the only woman in white and feel like an odd duck, but it's what I grew up with.

Yes, but only since I moved to Israel, before then I'd never heard of it. Here (at least the shuls I go to) it's kinda weird if you dont wear white. But besides that, I do it cause I really like what it stands for.

Yes if I happen to own an all- white outfit at the time. In my shul anything goes; not all women wear all white but most wear something white, even if it's just a blouse or a hat.

I will wear light colored clothing, white if I have it. Also, no gold jewelry. I thought the no gold was a universal minhag, but I see so many women in shul who do.

Probably they just don't know. IIRC there's something about this in kitzur shulchan oruch, so it's pretty standard.

If you are wearing a white skirt and you are tahor, aren't you nervous?

Actually, since I don't use leather sanitary items, it's not a big deal .
Seriously, I've never worried about it, though watch this be the year...
I thought no gold was pretty universal too, although I've been in communities where on RH it is the custom for women to wear ALL of their gold (!!!) as a segulah for a rich, "golden" New Year.

If I have white I'll wear it. But not a white tichel, cuz that just looks horrid on me.

I think sfardim dont hold by thatm but not sure, might just be the spanish jews. They say that whatever you are accustomed to wear all the time, you dont have to take off.

we don't have the minhag to add or subtract anything from our usual yomtov clothes or jewelry or sheitals. just non leather shoes, like everyone else.

I'm the only one in white, yup.
Other women wear whatever they want. A good number are very untznius, make up (!), leather shoes with heels, jewelry... but often these women are those you never see at shul except YK. Not the shomer mitzvos ones.

I'd be more nervous if I was wearing a white skirt and had a period!

In my community, everyone wears a white tichel, but only some wear all white.

The shul we attend in the US is primarily attended by Lubavitchers, although the service is more traditional Orthodox. Most of the women aren't wearing tichels, white or otherwise.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only lone woman in white on YK.

That's interesting, Ruchel. My dh won't wear a kittel on YK cos none of the other fellows do, but he does wear all white. So I have company there, like you, on the other side of the mechitza.

Well, I meant that if you see a stain you can become a niddah (we don't wear white underwear when tahor etc)

Same here. Though in that case I would ditch the white skirt in favor of a dark one and make do with a white blouse, jacket, hat etc.
