Please help. We can't figure out a name. We will probably use two names together so feel free to stock combos in. We are modern orthodox and are lookin for a name we both like but can be from any type

I've only ever heard of that for girls. I know about 3 or 4 girls with that name. Never heard it for a boy.

I love the name and meaning of Yakir.

Where do you live? In Israel I could see getting by with some of those names. In the US, I wouldn't want to do that to my kid. At least make sure he has one normal, mainstream name he can go by wherever he finds himself in life down the road.

Thanks for artscroll idea. We aren't worried about a mainstream name. We don't live in Israel but we are proud to carry traditional names wherever we live.
