At what age do you let your kids play at a friend's house without you?

Depends on
1. kids behavior/any issues they may have/their nature
2. how much I trust the other family
3. how the kid feels about it

My oldest is 6 and he can't be at a friends house alone, he has too many behavioral problems (very aggressive, a bit OCD, sensory issues, cannot forgive people, scared of a lot of things, has accidents). I do let him go for short periods of time right next door because I know the mother will call if something comes up. I feel like it has very little to do with age.

I don't think there is an age. We send kids to playgroup and babysitters. I don't see a difference. If they are happy going without you.

my ds is 8 and I dont fully trust him. he has encopresis and still has accidents so I am always nervous he will have at somones house. so I guess it all depends on the child.

4ish. I like to have the other kid over by me first so I can see how the interactions go, and then if I trust the other family I send my kid out. Personality is also a factor. Both of my kids wanted to go. Some of their friends preferred to stick to home.

I have a 2.5 year old. I would send her to a next door neighbor for like 30 minutes at a time, but I often keep checking in. I live in a building so it's really easy if anything comes up.

One friends mother often calls me for play dates with her also 2.5 yr old. When we go there I always go also, but the other mother sends her child to me with no supervision. This child is wayyyy to young and immature for that (personality wise) so it's basically free baby sitting...

I would say at around four. My daughter is 3 and a half, doesnt go to school or a playgroup yet, and has never been to a playdate without me.
