You try making an after hour appointment at a store or mikvah and they charge you more. The crazier the hour the more they charge.
I'm not chassidish and I have no idea what a typical badchan charges. But if you want to hire someone to start work after midnight you are going to have to be willing to pay for that special service.
My husband is a musician. If he has an off night and is actually home you bet he's going to charge to first start work at 12 and come home in the wee hours of the morning. Same if he had a different job that night and has to pack up and travel and set up again.
It sounds wonderful until you are the person that has to do this job!!

Meh. I'll take the late hour for much less. I don't know any job paid like this not even a neurosurgeon (average 8134 eu). STOP.
