Whatever's on my parent's menu lol. We'll be by them for Shavuos. I'll make one or two dishes. I know my mom is making dairy and pareve dishes so I'll make something along those lines.

We do different salads and (3 dish) mains for each meal but a lot of the same starters.

l do mostly the opposite LOL I make two sets of mains and sides, one version for the night meals, and another for the days, and then play around with the starters and desserts.

Potato Mushroom Thumbprints: http://www.kosher.com/recipe/1.....rints

Honey Mustard Cauliflower:

1 32 oz pkg frozen cauliflower
1 ¼ cups panko crumbs
1 t salt
1 t garlic powder
¼ t pepper
½ cup flour
3 eggs, beaten
¼ c honey
¼ c Dijon mustard
1 T oil

Combine crumbs and spices. Coat cauliflower in flour, then egg, than crumbs. Spray a sheet of parchment paper, lay cauliflower in a single layer, then spray again. Bake 30 min at 425, tossing after 15 min.
Mix honey, mustard, and oil and pour over cauliflower. Toss gently. Bake an additional 10 minutes.

I haven't made either yet so don't hold me accountable. Smile

This one's amazing!

Heat a pot on a high flame. Add 3-4 onions, sliced in rings. Cover for a few minutes, then mix well. Add about 1/3 cup sugar and mix until dissolved. Cover pan again. Keep on high flame, covered, but watch it while constantly mixing.
After 15 minutes, add 1/4 cup oil and 2-3 cloves garlic.
Mix until caramelized.
Add mayo, salt, and pepper, then blend.

Garlic Lover's Rice: http://www.kosher.com/recipe/5.....-rice
(never made this one)

Teriyaki Rice:
1 T olive oil
1 small red onion, diced (I just use a yellow one)
3 cloves garlic, crushed
¼ t ground liner or 1 t fresh grated ginger
1 c brown rice or 1 cup wild and brown rice
2 c beef broth or 2 cups water + 1 t beef broth powder (I use mushroom)
¼ c soy sauce
2 T brown sugar

Sauté onion 7-10 min, then add garlic and ginger, and sauté another 3 minutes. Add rice and broth, and stir. Bring to a boil. Cover pot and simmer 50 minutes.
Mix soy sauce and brown sugar. Pour over rice. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Mix well and cover pot. Remove from flame and let sit for 10 minutes. Fluff.

The recipe says it serves 6 but it totally doesn't. So when I first made it I quickly cooked up a cup of white rice and added it in with another T of brown sugar and 2 T soy sauce. It was really good so I've done it again like that but it's annoying dirtying another pot for the white rice. But I really did like the white/brown rice mix. A wild blend would probably be my best bet like the other option listed...
