The Raid (or is it Combat?) ant gel works very well. Squeeze it into corners and put out the Raid black square bait packs too. Together they really work well.

If you need something natural and don't mind having powder around, use diatomaceous earth, the food grade version only.

Combat baits:

https://www.amazon.com/Combat-.....traps

Sometimes they take a little while, but they work. The ants get the poison and bring back to the colony. If you just kill the ants that come, it won't stop the problem. Put them in the areas where you see them.

Also, be careful about leaving food out/cleaning spills and sticky things as they happen so that there is less for them to be attracted to.

In the house, I would use combat baits. If you have a specific trail, you can use the gel.

Cinnamon also works, but it's a deterrent. Works great outside or by windowsills. But it won't kill ants already comfortable in your house.

There are sprays that you use on the outside of your house. All around at the base of your house. In addition to sprays etc inside. Works excellent.

Terro ant traps. Just make sure to remove and replace every two to three weeks. After that point the poison in the trap breaks down and you're left just feeding the ants instead of killing them.
Expect to see a massive swarm of ants attracted to the trap before they start dying.
