I dont think thats accurate. Ive looked and thats what an older 2 family goes for.
There arent any listings for 3 family homes in BP, less than 40 years old.

A 3 family house is about 1 million per apartment.

I check the online classifieds several times a week and these are the prices. You can check yourself. (It didn't say how old the houses are- although in Boro Park the age of the house makes no difference AFAIK. Most people don't move into a house as is, they're either buying it for the lot, so it gets knocked down or they gut the inside or they do construction. )

Curious why you'd post the question if you already know the answer?

I asked because I have a figure in my head based on the ads in the paper, but those are the asking prices.
The question is do most people get the asking prices in Boro Park because people are dieing for houses there, and they may even outbid one another.

OP, think of how much you have in the bank, multiply it by 100,000, add another 100,000 per head in your family, your car, your life insurance, and your right arm...OK, you may be in the ballpark of what it costs to buy a three family house in BP....

Most houses being built are condos. They sell each floor separately for a million+ dollars.

Not if they're not classified as separate condos.
