Stuck between a rock and a hard place--I mean its not even nogeiah for a while yet, and R"H is this week, so I'm davening, but looking ahead a few months iy"H I will need a babysitter, and between tuition for my school-aged kids, and toddler in playgroup--all had price increases since I found out I was expecting, not sure what I will do about babysitting, its SO expensive in my area and my husband and I both work full-time and we both need our jobs, and we don't really have a family member who can babysit. Our salaries combined are too much for subsidies. What do we do?

Look into nanny sharing or getting an au pair.

Does the number of people in your household affect your subsidies?

It does--and we're over the maximum even with the baby by like $300-400 per month.
