For some strange reason crocs don't work for me. I might be the only person in the world who finds them uncomfortable.

I don't like them either.

Clarks makes some really comfy flats.

I like the kind of slippers that resemble flat shoes, such as these in black: https://m.kohls.com/product/pr.....mens. Or keep your eyes open for something more structured. After yom tov, just toss them in the laundry.

(I also can't tolerate Crocs).

Did you try the crocs that look like shoes? For some reason I find these much more comfortable than the old fashioned kind.

Also, double check if you're allowed to wear sneakers. Most sneakers (under $70) do not have leather.

Of course. Sneakers are very common Yom Kippur footwear in many communities.

Some Tom's shoes have leather insoles, please check before wearing. There are lots of fabric rubber soled flats available, and of course you can wear canvas sneakers.

Not sure if it's in keeping with the spirit of the law, whatever that is, but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to wear my regular, comfortable sneakers. All the ones I have say all man made materials.

I've seen some really nice skater slip ones this season. Fabric, rubber soles and cute designs.
White keds are what everyone wore when I was a girl.

My sneakers contain leather. Clarks sound like a good idea! I have tried the crocs that look like shoes. I wish they worked!

Skechers Go Walk line of slip on sneakers.

I chose these because they're on sale, but there are lots of styles
