Dd will turn 4 in November. She's been really interested in my yarn and knitting, and I'd kind of like to get her some starter yarn and needles as a birthday present. On the other hand, I'm not sure she really has the coordination for it yet. DH thinks plastic canvas (needlepoint) might be better. I don't disagree, but I think she mainly sees me knitting, so that's what she's going to be interested in. Any thoughts?
