Hi,
I need ideas for something to do in the tristate area with 3 elementary school kids this Sunday
Something in the tristate area?
Maybe in Manhattan
I was thinking maybe Intrepid Museum?
Is that a good idea .... weather wise ?
Any other ideas ?
And a kid friendly place for late lunch/ early dinner?

It's been a while since I went. I would say it depends on just how cold it is. Much of it is indoors, though not necessarily insulated, plus there's the Space Shuttle (extra expense, but worth it), but walking around the flight deck looking at the airplanes would be challenging if the windchill is in the 20s. If it's in the 30s or 40s and you bundle up and find parking nearby (and your kids aren't too little), you should be okay.
