I was looking to submit something I wrote to Ami, however being that I've never done anything like this before, I'm not exactly sure how to do so.
Is there a minimum required word count? Can I just submit any random topic?
Any basic guidelines and/or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I once submitted a article to Ami.
They rejected it but they didn't indicate that is was because it didn't meet any submission criteria. They told me that they will still consider further submissions from me.Email them and ask them

My #1 tip? Develop some ultra thick skin.
Don't let the rejections allow you to believe that your writing is no good.
You can submit any topic, but you have to think about a column that it would fit into. A good place to start is to write for the "My take" column, or "Real Days." See if what you wrote can fit one of those.
