Dd is perfectly fine by day but every single night she has trouble falling asleep cuz she feels that her nose is kind of blocked. It seems only to be happening during the winter but I really dont know how to help her. she is 7 years old. when I elevate her pillow she sleeps better but I dont want her to sleep on two pillows every night it's so unhealthy.
Advice would be really appreciated.

It may be from your heating.
Maybe try a vaporizer?

Yes, sorry. I should have expressed myself better... I meant to say it's not so healthy for her posture. Don't want her to develop a hunch... u might think I am crazy but I'm not 
When I was young my orthopedist advised me to sleep without a pillow ....

I agree to elevate the head and also to get moisture in the air via humidifier or if you have radiators a bowl of water nearby
