Smoked turkey is great room temp. They sell it in vacuum sealed bags from Aron’s (I think).

I make different salads with meat that are really filling. I rotate between making cobb salad, chopped salad, taco salad. This week I am trying one with Chicken, Avocado and Facon. My oldest calls them platter salads. Here are some recipes:

Taco salad I kind of make up.

Quinoa salad with avocado is delicious. Sprinkle with pine nuts or feta cheese for more protein and serve in roasted Portobello mushroom caps for more meatyness and to make it more of a main dish.

How about hasselback tomato caprese?

Or caprese skewers over a grain salad.

Zesty Greek couscous salad.

Macaroni cheddar salad served in an edible bowl or maybe a Greek pasta salad.
