I am thoroughly enjoying this serial by Ruti Kempler. I like the dry wit, and interesting characters..
I wonder where she'll go from here.
Will Sarala "see" the light and trade those shawls for humanity?
Will the bachelor (I forgot his name) find love?
What will happen with Bernadine from Papa New Guinea? I like the way she's portrayed...
Also where is she going with this whole liberal "arabs are good people" controversial attitude?
Perhaps Sarala & this bachelor will marry?? lol...

I am actually really not enjoying the serial.
Its just got way too much going on and the story line keeps dragging with no major twists and turns..

If you'd like to end the suspense, the book already came out in Hebrew.

That's so weird.. why would they publish the book before the serial finishes?

I thing mainly what I like about this serial is how crazy and real a cult can be. And how easy it is to warp religion, into something that it is not. And how it's not all that difficult to be ensnared in one, and to completely believe in the righteousness & mesirus nefesh of their cause.
It makes me shudder.

It's called Hanormali Ha'acharon in Hebrew. I read it in Mishpacha but will not spoil it for those who are reading it now.

And as most translated books - it was better in hebrew.

I did not like it because it dragged to much imho. But the I loved the idea

I'm enjoying it a lot. The characters are realistic; not perfect, one dimensional heroes.
