Oy. I've been here. It's hard but iyh it will pass. Hashem should give you strength and I hope you have lots of good takeout options where you live (hope the thought of that didnt make you feel worse, but if youre on a dinner thread, I guess you can handle hearing the word food. Smile)

For myself:
Breaded and baked chicken
With cauliflower mash
For dh:
Fried chicken cutlets breaded in crushed pretzels
Fried potatoes
For baby:
Breaded cutlets in corn flake crumbs
Mashed potatoes

And we all had flanken soup.

It actually is delicious!!
Bread small chicken cutlet pieces in flour, then egg. Put rice Krispies in a bowl and slightly smash them so they're partially big pieces and partially crumbs. Spice the rice krispies with salt and garlic. Dip the egg coated cutlets into the rice krispies and deep fry:) my kids and DH favourite kind of shnitzel! It's very crunchy and crispy! Enjoy:)

Ok. I am definitely going to try! I actually used to do this with honey but Chex and it was delicious. I don’t know why I stopped doing it.

Recipe is from Chanie Apfelbaum aka busy in Brooklyn

Fire Roasted Tomato Jam
2 pints grape tomatoes
3 Tbsp balsamic Vinegar
3 Tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper

Broil on high for ten minutes until tomatoes crack. Remove from oven and mash with a fork. Broil for another 10 minutes until tomatoes are soft and mixture thickens and then mash again.

Enjoy
