Hello!
B"H my sister is engaged, and getting married in the Holy Land. Is there a place to set up a wedding registry in Israel, that American friends can access?
Thank you!

The only person I know who did this is my cousin at nehmad.it's an upscale homeware store. I'm pretty sure other stores offer the service as well. My cousin's registry was pretty simple but since it was a store that would be beyond the budget for wedding gifts for many guests who would usually bring gifts bought only a few items and I would assume the more Israeli guests who regularly give larger sums still gave checks - I didn't know how successful this was.
It really depends who your crowd is.

A lot of people use www.honeyfund.com

The concept doesn't really exist in Israel. There's nothing really user friendly in English. If you can nicely direct people to just give checks, that's really the easiest.

I'm so glad we didn't get any gifts from there!

But now I'm wondering how many marriages go through the Rabbanut are and how many are Badatz.

I assume it's too late for the poster, but heads up that there is a new amazing wedding registry in Israel called La'Bayit Gifts, which also has Judaica. You don't need to show up to register or purchase gifts - it can all be done online. I highly recommend it! I purchased a gift there for a kallah and thought it was an easy to use and really nice website.
