Beware the Costco Visa Card

If you find a fraudulent charge on your Costco Visa card, they will automatically cancel your Costco Visa card and send you a new card. No big deal, right?

WRONG! They also automatically assign you a new Costco membership number, which means when you reach the checkout counter, your Costco membership number will not work. You have to wait for a manager to come and override the account to let you shop. Then you have to wait on the dreaded line at membership card services for a NEW CARD!

I had a nasty manager today. So even though she knew all she had to do was key into the cash register, she kept telling me "Go to membership services." I had to ask her multiple times to key into the cash register, because she was pretending to be clueless. I decided not to complain about her, because I'm sure someone else will.
