I want to get into some performing and recording. Looking for a good keyboard that won't break the bank, with usb. Not a Yamaha. Any recommendations?

I use a Casio Previa digital piano for performances. I'm pretty sure the current models have a USB MIDI connection. 88 fully weighted keys, good piano sounds, lots of other sounds, portable enough to lug around.
