I'm sick of Carter's...little animals & daddy's little darling, or whatever. My oldest is a girl & I'm expecting a girl iyh after a bunch of boys. I have some clothing from my oldest that I can re-use, but would like to buy some new things. Does anyone have budget-friendly suggestions of where I can get cute girl clothes that are not the fuzzy, Carter's type? By budget friendly, I mean in the same-ish price bracket as good 'ole Carter's. TIA!!

Where do you live? I shop in town, (Lakewood) but I only buy on sale mid season. I like European quality. Many stores here have “sale stores”. Little Women, Juvenile Planet, Ladida, Flying Colors Baby etc. I shop around and find great clothes from the last years season at amazing prices.
I also do really well in ZARA and H and M. You can shop online- they have easy return policies.

Sears, walmart, Macy's are my favorites. Also carters and osh kosh have other cute things. I got my daughter very cute one piece outfits and pretty shirts and a shabbos outfit last summer.

Burlington is the best for baby girl clothing at Carter's prices. Also, you can try outlet stores if you are near one.

Have fun!

Take a look at carters again. They may have some things now in your taste.

Last year when I had my baby I did very well at babies r us (if you wait until clearance is an additional 60-70% off prices are amazing too) carters and target. You can also check children's place and old navy. I would also recommend double checking at carters. If you look around you can find lots of stuff without words or animals. For example:
