So we reached that stage. Where my boys outgrew the backyard and smaller daycamps and are begging me to go to one of the big four.
Tell me about them. Positives and negatives. My boys will be 9 &11 this summer.
How much supervision? Are they active participants or watching shows all day? How well do they handle allergies and medical stuff?
Which would you recommend?

I’m also looking into these ‘big boy’ day camps. Any info would be so helpful

I've had experience with Chevra and yachad, and loved both, bli ain hara.
Lots of fun, learning, sports, trips and good boys, counselors and administration. Very well run.
Just a piece of advice, if you care, you may want to see how far you are from the camp and try to find out from ppl in your neighborhood that have sent there in the past how long bus ride is.
