Anyone ever have luck returning something to AliExpress? Or working out a resolution with them?
I am always nervous to purchase something a little higher priced due to this fact.
Also what was the cost of return?

Purchasing from Ali is a gamble. Returns cost more than the products. People only buy that which they're ok losing on.

When an item came broken I managed to get a partial refund, but I was trying just for the sake of it. I didn’t expect anything back.

I’ve received refunds from them. You have to dispute the item and give a good reason for dispute so if a shirt has a pull, or color is off, size is off they usually will refund you. Also if a month passes and you didn’t receive item you do get ur money back

I've also opened disputes over damaged merchandise or sizing way off and gotten a complete or partial refund depending on the item:)

Buy with a credit card that will allow you to dispute the charge if you don't get the item.
