I am unhappy with how my current pediatrician is handling my son's chronic health condition so I am looking to switch. Looking for referrals to an excellent pediatrician in Flatbush- details appreciated!

can you share more about your child's health condition, how it's being treated and what don't you like about the treatment?

It’s not really the method he is using to treat the condition (pretty standard). I don’t like that he doesn’t follow up with specialists I see- he isn’t so on top of new developments. He is also unreliable, hours are inconvenient, and he is patronizing to me.

Would you go to Kensington? Dr. Feldman at Kensington Pediatrics is amazing.

I don't have experience with specific conditions, but I'm happy with dr. Joseph wahba on Bedford and kings highway.

Thank you. I’ve heard he is a good doctor. Is the office well run? What are the hours?

Extremely well run. Usually no wait time at all. I'm not sure of the hours. I usually make appointments to fit my work schedule. I don't think they are open late.

I've gone during the week for sick visits. I'm not sure what you mean and if I'm reading your post correctly. He won't schedule well visits on sundays.

I was answering the OP, I wasn't replying to your post.

He's only open for sick visits on Sunday. He doesn't have late hours. Does that make sense Smile
eta that I agree with bsy. The office is really well run.

Yes that makes sense. When it was written the other way, one may have thought that he doesn't do sick visits except for Sunday. Thanks for clarifying .

I use Dr. Wahba as well and an very happy. He is really nice and kind and will spend as much time as you need. Maybe schedule a consult with him to discuss your child's condition and see if he's a good fit for you?

Just putting this out there- we see a pediatrician for my daughter with health issues at the Complex care clinic at Mt. sinai. yes, it is a shlep but its worth it as they are in touch with her specialists as needed and most of all 'understand' her needs.

Not sure if you need to be a Mt. sinai patient and maybe some other hospitals have similar program. also it may need to be significant health needs.

Dr Sadaka- we love him and he’s always always available by phone, text or email if he’s not in his office. He’s also so calm, confident and caring
