I have been working as a freelancer for a client for about 2 years, and I just got a letter saying they filed for Bankruptcy Chapter 11 about a month ago. My last invoice was sent at the end of December and paid recently. I was going to send my next invoice this week. Can I still send the invoice? I read that Chapter 11 means they're not closing, just reorganizing, which is more hopeful if you're owed money. But I also read you need to file a claim with the court rather than with them (an invoice?). Anyone know how this works??
