I’m 5 months pregnant and am trying to figure out if I should bother looking for a job or if at this point it doesn’t make sense and I should wait until after the baby is born. Any thoughts/advice/wisdom?
Background- I had a job, we moved for my husband’s job, I was too sick in my first trimester to do anything, let alone apply for work, and I have been interviewing for jobs for about a month now, but I’m not sure if I should start the process with new companies now ( if I get a job from one of the places I applied a month ago, I will be happy to take it, but doesn’t seem like that is happening).

I started working at a place in my 7 th month. The company called me to offer the job , I told them I was 7th months preg. and they said they didn't mind. It was understandable I would go back to work after my maternity leave.

I got a job when I was about 6 months pregnant. I've been working there for 4.5 years now. It's worth a try!

I would say you're in a very fortunate position. You can look, but don't have to grind the pavement every day. Just look for things that would be a great fit. Then if you are offered a position, you'll know it's one with a flexible approach to family.
