No, NOT every post. Even if you are logged in. Because some of the forums are private. This should definitely be made more clear, since so many are surprised. I knew some thins came up, but even I am not sure which are public and which private,

Op, go to your posts and edit them to anonymous. He will see none of it. I always post anonymous. Also if the forum doesn't allow you to post anonymous then decide if your going to post since it will be seen by anyone

Btw my dh always tells me if someone really to find out who you're they can find out nothing is really 100% anonymous, every computer has a identity..

That's for people that are seriously bored.

Many people discover Imamother.com through internet searches. If all the posts were hidden, the site would get new members only through referrals or by invitation.

So, if you don't want to be easily discovered, keep your user name to yourself and don't post information under your screen name that would make you easy to identify.

But some people really overdo the caution thing. I don't get why someone would go amother to ask for a chocolate babka recipe...

I understand that, but for those who want to know if they are posting in a public or private forum, is there a way to tell when looking at /posting to a thread if it is public? Where are the asterisks? Since a lot of people are surprised, it might be good for this to be more clear.

It is true. I just tried it. The first time only six came up and it asked me if I want more. The little picture icon also came up in images and when you click on that messages come up as well. It feels rather violating.
