I want to leave with DH for one night to Tel Aviv or surroundings. A place not too far from the water as we want to watch the sunset.

Any recommendations for a decent hotel to stay & Mehadrin restaurant where we can eat?

There’s a Ritz Carlton in Hertzelia which is over a stunning bay and ocean.
They’re pricey, and have an amazing restaurant downstairs but not sure if it’s mehadrin.

That's really expensive.

About the restaurant - It doesn't have to be in the hotel. Any place around is okay.

The West Lagoon Hotel in Netanya - IIRC every room has a sea view.
It's a new hotel, decorated very tastefully. The breakfast buffet was amazing.
I don't think the hotel is mehadrin though...

Expensive. It seems that for the same price I can have 2-3 nights in Eilat including round trip tickets.

But we want only one night in Tel Aviv or Merkaz for a reasonable price.

Really? We got a great deal back in November, for one night.
BTW - the West in Ashdod in also nice.
Just pointing out though that if anyone is considering the West in Tel Aviv please check that they have a teuda - last time we checked they didn't.
