So this is what I just recently heard, not giving to anger makes us feel better.
How so?

Anger is a feeling to alert us that our boundaries are being crossed. Use it wisely as the tool it's meant to be.
Don't act on the anger.
Take action when you feel anger.

Well yes, if my instinctive reaction to anger is to hit my child, then yes, it feels better to not act on the anger.
