My 12 yr old daughter has a thick head of frizzy unmanageable hair. She usually wears it in a bun or braid bec nothing else looks good. We tried leave in conditioner, mousse and anti frizzy serum. Somebody suggested that maybe she needs a good haircut/shaping. Is that true? If so who in Brooklyn can you recommend for her hair type?

Frizzy person here: Please get her a new hair dryer! They work so well for frizz, I can't believe how well. Get one with ions, check the ratings some are known to be astounding to stop the frizz and there are all price ranges. Haircut never helped me tame anything but maybe it works for others .
