Keep in mind that if you purchase for them you will also need to deal with returns.

Most Neighborhoods have stores with internet kiosks that people use to shop online. Also, most people want cheap and if they need to pay to browse it's not worth it for them.
With clothing, I see a lot that one person orders something nice and then everyone copies-either they ask their friend to order or they call the company/store.

If you do the business plan/marketing right there is a chance it could work out but bear in mind people can make you crazy for a half hour for one item.

OP if you want, I can give you a lead to the couple that used to do it.

Perhaps you can ask them why they stopped doing it.

Thanks! I'll pm you. If not today, after Shabbos iy"h.

I don't think she can offer to do returns if she is not in the same location.

The driver service looks great. Why don't you ask if you can be an operator for them?

A couple of years ago, my roommate at a kimpeturin home was a young mother from Kiryas Joel. Her whole family lived in KJ. She asked me to order a coat online from Zara for her daughter on my phone. I had poor reception, and so she instead had her sister go to her father's office and place the order from there.

My takeaway: Even people in the most insular communities have default access to the internet one way or another, as it has become a necessity in today's society. And therefore I don't think a business venture like you're suggesting is likely to be successful.

I don't have in mind a big business venture, was thinking more along the lines of like 20 calls a week. Though I hear your thought and it makes sense to me- 10 yrs ago it might have been a fruitful gig, but today less so.

This wouldn't work for me for a couple reasons. Thanks though.
