- Because I've given all of these as wedding gifts.
- Because these are what I used to hold my shalach manos this year.
- Because I want my friends to think I'm too holy for Amazon.
- Because salad bowl preferences are very private.
- Because I don't want to ruin my kids' shidduch prospects if future MIL thinks these bowls are ugly.
- Because I'm not sure you meant actual salad bowls, and if this a new kind of slang I don't want to sound like an idiot.
- Because I don't want to get blamed if one of them breaks.
- Because I hit "post anonymously" accidentally.
- Because I'm embarrassed to be on Imamother instead of cleaning.
- Because people might think I'm stingy for looking at such cheap bowls.
- Because people might think I'm frivolous for considering such expensive salad bowls.

The first two reasons were pretty good ones! Others made me laugh. Still curious about ginger and powderblue. Maybe they have reasons not on your list.
