Many schools offer these services, so ask. If your school doesn't, then you can still go through the Board of Ed and get services elsewhere, but it's a pain (this was a few years ago, maybe things have changed since then).
But personally, I would go private if I had a choice. Find out if your insurance covers these services. If your child has a lisp, or something like that, the Board of Ed may be adequate, but for more serious issues I would go private. Just my personal opinion.

For OT, I recommend Ruchie Cohen. She has an agency of therapists - they either come to you or your child's school, or you go to her premises. My DD worked with Risha Portowicz, and we were very pleased.

For ot you can check out children's specialized hospital. It's in Toms River. They have amazing pt and ot. They also have speech but I've only heard ok reviews nothing that would make me travel to them for.
My daughter is currently receiving speech through thera tots. You go to them for the evaluation and then a therapist comes to you or your child's school. We've seen great improvement in just a few weeks. They're great at matching therapist to child based on skill and personality
