I can’t believe how high ours is! I set up automatic payments a few years ago so I wasn’t paying attention.
I do live in a big house... but I don’t think it was ever so high. I live in nj if that matters. This month our bill was $229.67!!!!
How much do you pay??

Are you sure you pay monthly? In nyc we are billed quarterly. Check and make sure you don’t have any leaky toilets. Sometimes they keep filling up and slowly but surely it adds up
Also maybe with YT there as more laundry more cooking washing dieshes etc?

Not sure how much my landlord pays here for the utilities...
Before living in Flatbush, we payed through the roof for water bills. Close to nine hundred for two months. I think it's because we were living in CA where there was a drought so they automatically upped the prices and put you in different tiers depending on your water usage.

It’s every month 🙁
I do have a toilet that is always running but it’s been like that for almost a year!
So it seems that I’m paying more than double than NY? Lots of laundry here, showers, dishes ... should that really be more than $200 a month? I thought I remembered paying around $70-$80 a month. Even if we’re using more water these days including the leaky toilet, I would think the max should be $140-$150.... where are they getting me??

My water bill was $350 quarterly.
Someone finally paid to replace the leaky toilet (landlord was not doing it) and our water bill is now under $150 quarterly.
There may have been other reasons for the decrease of course, but that one was the biggie.

You get billed quarterly, you sure not monthly?

In Monsey, family of 6 and we pay about $65.00 per month and in the summertime it goes up because of more usage. It's usually a bit over $100 then. We try our best to fix any leaky faucets or toilets right away.
