As its getting warmer I'm dreading the days that I'll be switching to sheer tights, pantyhose..whatever.
Aside from finding a comfortable pair, I always get these bad rashes by my thighs.
Anyone have such a thing and found a good solution?

When I'm pregnant in the summer, cotton shorts under my skirt helps stop heat rashes. Not sure how it would work with tights, as I'm usually vacationing summertime in a long denim skirt and cotton socks...

I have the opposite situation: I get a rash if I DONT wear pantyhose.

it has to be the right one though: right size and matrial: I LOVE falke brand, they are expencive but last FOREVER. so worth it. I discard mine after a year maybe. I wash and wear and wash and wear...

so I guess it all depends on finding the right product.

also inserting soft hankerchives between the legs (into the pantyhose ) does the trick: my friend tried it out during pregnancy and continued using it till now.

I never tried so I dont know.

my pantyhose actually cause me the rash, so I rub some baby powder on my thighs before putting them on and it helps tremendously.

Definitely trunk panties, you can find them on Vermont Country Store and Woman Within.
Long enough skirts to wear knee highs.

I find the modal or microfiber, although thicker, are much more comfortable than nylons. Although in the house I only wear cotton socks and change to the knee highs when I must go out.

OP here. Thanks for all the responses! thigh highs aren't an option, but im going to check out the powder idea/gold bond and shorts/skimmies. though its hard to imagine how all the layering will be comfortable throughout the summer.....

I also get a rash when bare-legged. I have found that switching to a larger size (or maybe a smaller size, in your case,) solved the pantyhose-rash issue for me. I am now in love with Melas 60 denier:)

I have an idea to all panty hose makers.
Why cant the “shorts” part of the hose be made out of the same material as our black opaque tights.
And then from thigh down it can be the regular stocking material.
The stocking material high up is what causes the itchiness an rashes.
I think its a brilliant idea!
