He's ten months old.
My oldest is very advanced and was walking and talking at age one.
This one is taking his time. He is alert, responsive, and a good, sweet baby.
However I have been reading about milestones and he's not there! He doesn't even try to pull up to stand; doesn't say any words (he babbles but that's it); doesn't really understand me other than his name; doesn't crawl (he swims on the floor, and gets around perfectly fine. He can get on his knees but cannot move on his knees- he flops down.)
I'm so worried! I'm going to call my doctor but please tell me, is this normal?
Also, I rarely read to him. He's happy without it, so I never do it (we get busy with other things).
And he doesn't drink a lot; I see the recommended amount is 24-30 oz; he probably gets 10-15 oz all day! (Breastfeeding)

Doesn't sound like out of range for normal, but good idea to do a general checkup.

I would get him evaluated. It sounds like he may have low muscle tone.
